Now that a number of notable pilots (or rather, their 'Mechs) make an apocryphal appearance in MWO we may have to revisit this. They were thus deliberately omitted from the writeups. Back then we found that many "Notable Pilots" were actually nobodies with no second mentioning anywhere in canon. ![]() In the defense of Sarna, we discussed the issue of the so-called notable pilots from the TROs in some depth a couple of years ago, before there was MWO or their Hero 'Mechs. ![]() Upsalom's entry doesn't say anything about which specific model of Quickdraw she piloted (and as a pirate she would've had to worry rather more about where the next spare parts were supposed to come from than about anything as silly as "regulations"), but individual custom jobs did usually get called out, so my reflex is to go with a stock QKD-4G at the time or at worst one of the other variants actually listed - none of which mounted autocannons or would have known what an XL engine or pulse laser were if one had come up and bit them. Of course, if this is still supposed to be the same 'Mech rather than just a random name drop, then it must've had an interesting life and mutated something fierce in the interim. So that's presumably where the name comes from at least. Lurker on, 03:45:24 TRO: 3025 (may or may not also be in 3039, I don't actually have that) shows a "IV-Four" as the personal ride of one Ivy "Ladykiller" Upsalom associated with Redjack Ryan's goons at the time.
